ONE DAY COURSES FOR 2008-2009

Introductory Wire & Bead Jewellery Workshop
This is an intensive 'taster' course for the total beginner, or someone who needs refreshing in essential wire working techniques. You will be tutored in threading beads with wire, making bead cages, creating spirals and coils, chain links, as well as learning how to fabricate your own clasps. From this experience you will have the opportunity to design and create your own unique piece of jewellery to take home.




Intermediate Wire & Bead Jewellery Workshop
This is an intensive course for someone who already has a basic knowledge of wireworking skills, where the session can be adapted to suit your skill level and needs. The workshop can incorporate using a jig, a spiral bead maker, plaiting and twisting wire, creating rings and bangles, culminating in designing and creating your very own unique piece or pieces of jewellery to take home.




Tiara Workshop
This course is for anyone considering creating wedding tiaras and hair ornaments to expand into a business, or for a bride wanting to create her own distinctly original wedding jewellery. No previous wireworking knowledge is necessary as you will be tutored into how to create tiara headbands with 5 different styles of tiara stems, culminating in the making of a finished tiara or hair ornament.





Greeting Card & Wire Workshop
If you love papercrafts and want to learn how to create highly original greeting cards, this course will provide you with essential knowledge to create very distinctive wire designs and gifts on cards. Subjects include, 'Birthdays', 'Wedding Anniversary', 'New Baby', 'Mother's Day', 'Çhristmas' and general greetings ...







Each workshop begins at 10.30am and finishes at 4.30pm. The cost of each one day session is £185 for private tuition, however, if you wish to attend with more than one person (and up to 4) it is £150 per head. This cost is inclusive off all materials, use of tools, worksheets, lunch and refreshments ... infact, all you have to bring is yourself!
